About the role
Paint Line Loader-Unloader LeadThis position reports to Paint Line Supervisor. It is solely accountable for the fulfillment of all assigned duties and has authority delegated commensurate with assigned responsibilities. Paint Line Loader-Unloader Lead - Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Load/Unload line. Plans, schedules, conducts, or coordinates detailed phases of the Load/Unload line. Functions as floor presence and assist supervisor in delegation of the department employees. Areas of Responsibility Include, but are not limited to: Coordinate line loading and unloading. Is responsible for all Load/Unload Line duties including labeling and identifying parts. Is responsible to follow and adhere to company processes for inspection of parts, including final painted parts. Any additional duties that have not been specifically stated, but which may be assigned and those that are logically and properly inherent to this position.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED Certificate preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of Paint Line Load/Unload experience required.
Maintain a good attendance record.
Ability to gain forklift certification and safely operate overhead air hoist.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work as an effective and cohesive team member and take direction from leadership.
Microsoft Office Excel/Word/Teams experience desired.
Ability to gain knowledge of company products. Comply with quality, environmental, safety and JOST company policies and procedures.
Physical Requirements:
Work is generally performed in a production plant 100% of time. While performing duties of this job, the employee will regularly; stand, walk, reach, bend, twist will be required to stoop, kneel, lift, pull or move objects of 50 pounds or less with or without assistance, with full motion unrestricted.
