Key Responsibilities
Clinical Excellence: Conduct comprehensive eye exams following established protocols. Diagnose and manage ocular conditions using appropriate tools and pharmaceutical agents. Provide timely follow-up care and referrals with thorough documentation. Educate patients on eye health and build lasting doctor-patient relationships. Minimize prescription remakes and contact lens returns through accurate assessments.
Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with staff to ensure seamless patient care. Coordinate with referring physicians to enhance continuity of care. Manage patient flow efficiently and maintain punctuality for appointments and walk-ins.
Compliance: Adhere to all state laws and regulations governing optometry. Maintain accurate and secure patient records. Uphold patient rights and confidentiality.
