Job Description: Winding involves the operation of "modified" lathes specifically designed for the turning of aluminum or copper wire(s) onto a transformer coil form per explicate and detailed instructional design paperwork from Kinetics' engineering staff. The coil winder uses wire tension or strikes the wire with mallet to form the wire around the form. Insulation paper and air duct spacing sticks are placing between winding layers per engineering specifications. Attention to detail and the following of assembly instructions and procedures is an essential requirement of job and employment. An industrial transformer technician, by the very nature of the materials and tool used, requires a person to be in adequate physical condition and have a full range of body movement to handle the lifting / holding and body movement to safely and efficiently operate the tools, equipment and product manufacture. At Kinetics the majority of lifting is under 75 lbs. Cranes, lift winches, jacks and a fork truck are available for lift items greater than 75 lbs. Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
