About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team in Kent, WA. This role involves handling, inspecting, and organizing canned salmon cases while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The Warehouse Associate will support inventory management, quality control, and shipment operations in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities: Stack pallets with cases of labeled canned salmon. Conduct quality control by inspecting cans for damage and incorrect labeling. Verify date codes on cans to ensure compliance with packaging standards. Lift and move cases of canned salmon weighing up to 25 lbs. Perform inventory checks and organize stock within the warehouse. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and PPE guidelines. Assist with loading and unloading shipments as needed. Document quality control findings and report any discrepancies. Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks. Maintain accurate records of inbound and outbound product movement.
Required Qualifications: Ability to read and write in English. Ability to lift and handle up to 30 lbs. Must pass a background check. Must pass E-Verify. Prior warehouse or general labor experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with pallet stacking, quality control, or production line work. Familiarity with warehouse tools or equipment such as pallet jacks.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift. Ability to work in a warehouse setting with moderate noise levels. Follow safety and PPE guidelines at all times.
Additional Details: Dress code: Warehouse attire (no baggy clothing).Shift includes one 30-minute lunch break, one 15-minute AM break, and one 20-minute PM break.
