Commercial Pool Project Manager
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL | Full-Time
Position Overview: A well-established South Florida construction company is seeking an experienced Commercial Pool Project Manager to oversee commercial pool, aquatic, and water feature projects from start to finish. The Project Manager will coordinate schedules, budgets, subcontractors, materials, clients, and field operations to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Responsibilities: Manage commercial pool and aquatic construction projects from planning through completion. Coordinate with general contractors, developers, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and field crews. Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets. Review plans, specifications, contracts, and change orders. Monitor job progress, costs, materials, and timelines. Conduct project meetings and maintain regular client communication. Coordinate purchasing, deliveries, permitting, and job-site logistics. Identify and resolve issues that could affect project cost, schedule, or quality. Ensure work meets applicable safety and building code requirements. Maintain accurate project documentation.
Qualifications: 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience. Pool, aquatic, water feature, fountain, or related construction experience strongly preferred. Strong understanding of construction scheduling, subcontractor management, and project financials. Ability to read construction plans and technical specifications. Experience working directly with field crews. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Buildertrend or similar software preferred. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Spanish and/or Portuguese proficiency is a plus. Willingness to travel to job sites throughout South Florida.
