About the role

AdventHealth Kansas City Neuroscience Institute is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Inpatient Neurologist to join AdventHealth Shawnee Mission. This full-time employed position offers a 7 days on/7 days off schedule providing comprehensive inpatient neurologic care in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. The successful candidate will help strengthen inpatient services, improve outpatient transitions, and support continued program growth. Practice Info Join a rapidly growing, physician-led Neuroscience Institute Practice at AdventHealth Shawnee Mission, a 500-bed tertiary-care hospital serving the Kansas City region Participate in a comprehensive program spanning stroke, endovascular care, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, neuromuscular disorders, neuro-oncology, headache, movement disorders, complex spine, and pain management Collaborate with an expanding stroke program pursuing Comprehensive Stroke Center designation Benefit from strong cardiovascular, cancer, emergency, critical care, and surgical services Access advanced neurovascular infrastructure, including two Siemens ARTIS Icono biplane angiography suites and advanced neurosurgical technology
Responsibilities: Provide high-quality inpatient neurologic care Care for adult patients with acute and complex neurologic conditions, including ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke Manage patients with seizures and epilepsy Evaluate and treat encephalopathy and altered mental status Manage neuromuscular emergencies Care for patients with multiple sclerosis and other neuroimmunologic disorders Manage headache and acute neurologic presentations Treat neuro-oncology and brain tumor-related conditions Compensation Competitive base salary: $433,333 annually wRVU production eligibility and additional-shift opportunities Competitive Sign-on bonus
