Recruiter Intern (onsite) - Reporting directly to the President and Founder Seeking to add a motivated, driven, creative and open-minded summer intern to our team in downtown Houston. Schedule is for flexible throughout the remainder of the summer and fall semester, with high potential to convert to a full-time teammate upon graduation, this academic year or next. This intern will have the opportunity to work with some of the recruiting industry's veteran Recruiters and Sourcers, including former SpaceX employees, which have hired talent at the highest caliber for numerous, cutting-edge companies in the tech and space & defense sectors. WHAT YOU GET TO DO...Learn the craft from some of the best, proven Recruiters in the businessPartner with local and remote recruiting teammates, in order to provide support for ongoing talent searchesIdentify talented individuals for job openingsDiscover what it takes to find those purple squirrelsDrive social media initiatives for attracting candidates to job opportunitiesResearch client companies we're currently supporting, along with their competitors, in order to better understand talent markets and trendsReview resumes and incoming applicantsCoordinate meetings, phone screens, interviews, etc.Conduct initial phone/video screens with prospective candidatesCreate and maintain job postings on our company websitePlan and execute communication outreach campaignsPromote upcoming events via various channels (i.e. - phone, email, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)Partner and build relationships with key university personnel for networking and identifying top talentWHAT WE'RE SEEKING IN THIS INTERN...Passion for finding perfect candidate matches for hiring teamsAvid communication skills and a desire for making phone calls and crafting messagesFocused, startup, hustle mentalityIndependence requiring minimal guidanceStrong desire to learn, grow, and developSolid work ethic and interest in taking on extra projects and implementing new ideasAbility to drive projects through to completionAcute prioritization skillsArticulate, organized, and detail-oriented approachOpen-mindedness with ability to quickly adapt to changeCharisma and creativityMultitasking skills that still maintain quality and timeliness of projectsGrammar, spelling, and punctuation proficiencyAbility to type fluidly on a computer keyboard
