Job Description: BME Fire Trucks is seeking multiple skilled fire truck auto body technicians with experience to fill vacancies in both our first and second shifts. We are a locally owned Fire Truck manufacturer in Boise, Idaho. BME manufactures wildland fire apparatus used in the US and Canada for wildland fire suppression. Be a part of something that makes a difference in saving lives, homes, and our amazing recreational areas. As a Fire Truck Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for:
  • Mixing and applying body filler
  • Sanding with both longboards and mud-hog sanders
  • Finish sanding primer and caulking seems
  • Grinding
  • Acid washing
  • Prepping for paint processRequirements WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:
  • Understanding of bodywork principles
  • Experience with body filler
  • Experience with block sand
  • Experience with air toolsSalary Description15-25/hr
