DescriptionWe are seeking a strategic, customer-focused Director of Professional Services to lead and scale our services organization. In this role, you will oversee the delivery of implementation, consulting, and customer success services to ensure customers achieve meaningful, long-term value from our software solutions.This position requires a balance of operational leadership, customer engagement, and team development experience. You will play a key role in driving consistent, high-quality service delivery while supporting organizational growth.Location:Hybrid: Three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) in office in Long Beach, CA.Remote work from home on Mondays and Fridays.Willingness to travel up to 25%About the Role - Key Responsibilities:Leadership & StrategyDefine and execute the vision, strategy, and operating model for the Professional Services organizationBuild, mentor, and support high-performing teams across implementation, consulting, and technical deliveryPartner with senior leadership to ensure alignment with company goals and growth initiativesEstablish scalable processes, methodologies, and best practices to support service deliveryService Delivery ExcellenceOversee customer implementations to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with agreed expectationsDevelop and maintain delivery frameworks, tools, and governance modelsMonitor project health, identify potential risks, and guide teams to successful outcomesAlign pre-sales commitments with delivery execution to ensure a seamless customer experienceManage project prioritization based on demand and available capacityFinancial & Resource ManagementMonitor and guide team utilization to support business objectivesForecast services revenue and manage resource planning to meet demandEnsure delivery efficiency while maintaining high-quality outcomesOperational ExcellenceTrack key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure team and project performanceDrive continuous improvement through feedback, metrics, and post-project insightsPromote operational efficiency across distributed or cross-functional teamsCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with Sales to support deal strategy, project scoping, and solution designCollaborate with Product and Engineering teams to share customer insights and inform product directionWork with HR and Talent teams to recruit, onboard, and develop top talentAbout You - Essential Qualifications:Experience10+ years of experience in Professional Services, Consulting, or Customer Delivery roles within a software or SaaS company5+ years of leadership experience managing managersProven track record of scaling a services organization in a high-growth environmentExperience managing forecasting, revenue recognition and operating a services businessSkills & ExpertiseStrong understanding of software implementation methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid)Deep experience in enterprise software delivery and customer engagementExceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skillsStrong financial acumen and data-driven decision-making capabilitiesAbility to balance strategic thinking with hands-on executionExperience in SaaS, cloud, or enterprise application platformsFamiliarity with PSA tools, CRM systems, and project management platformsBachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferredThe salary range varies, and pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, certifications (if applicable), candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills and years of experience amongst other factors.
