About the role
Remote working US Compliance Manager opportunity working with a rapidly growing specialty insurer. The role will lead and support regulatory compliance and filing activities across US operations, working closely with Legal, Finance, Accounting, Data and other teams.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare and coordinate annual, quarterly and periodic filings with the NAIC and state Departments of Insurance.
- Manage regulatory, industry bureau and data intermediary filings.
- Coordinate responses to regulatory data calls, inquiries and complaints.
- Support financial, market conduct and other regulatory examinations and audits.
- Assist with state licensing and surplus lines approvals.
- Maintain the regulatory calendar, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Partner with Finance and Accounting to gather and validate filing data.
- Maintain accurate compliance records and supporting documentation.
- Key experience:
- Significant hands-on US insurance regulatory compliance experience within P&C insurance.
- Experience using NAIC and state DOI filing systems and portals.
- Strong knowledge of US insurance regulatory requirements and filing processes.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
