Energy Transfer is one of the largest and most diversified midstream energy companies in North America with approximately 140,000 miles of pipelines and associated energy infrastructure in 44 states transporting the oil and gas products that make our lives possible.
Summary:
Our Finance Department is seeking dynamic, personable, and professional Finance Interns who will work with the various functional finance departments within Energy Transfer at our Dallas office.
This is a twelve (12) week paid internship program beginning May 2027. You must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program with an expected graduation date in Fall 2027 or Spring 2028.
(This opportunity doesn’t include relocation or living stipend)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Interns are assigned projects in several different finance groups including:
Treasury
Corporate Planning and Analysis
Operations Planning and Analysis
Required Skills:
Requirements Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
Currently enrolled in college majoring in Finance
Preferably junior status as of Fall 2027
General requirements include self-motivated individuals, involvement inactivities outside college studies.
Preferred qualifications:
Strong computer and advanced Excel skills preferred
Must possess a strong willingness to learn
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to adapt well to rapidly changing priorities and responsibilities
Ability to organize, perform and prioritize various functions in a fast paced environment
Must be a team player, and able to work effectively with a diverse workforce and with various levels within the organization
