About the role
The Senior of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) will play a vital role in Alliance's finance transformation initiative to enhance the insightfulness of reporting to Senior Leadership and streamline the budgeting and forecasting processes. This person will be responsible for providing ad hoc reporting to the CFO and private equity owners on a regular basis, facilitating development of the annual budget process, partnering with the business unit finance leaders, coordinating / writing executive reports for the Board of Directors and supporting Executive Leadership on potential M&A opportunities. The individual will help drive analytics-based decision‑making with a focus on leveraging PowerBI to help drive more science‑based decision making. Position will also play a critical role in supporting Alliance's acquisition integrations. This position would be a great opportunity for a seasoned financial analyst to take his/her career to the next level.
The FP&A Senior will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer. This position will not have direct supervisory responsibilities. However, this person will coordinate with the operators and accounting managers at each of the Company's operating units and act as a liaison with the Company's internal and external stakeholders. This position is hybrid, which requires the person to be on-site at our Scottsdale, AZ office a few days per week . What you'll do Actively involved in monthly management reporting responsibilities
Own the annual budget, rolling forecast, and multi-year financial planning processes
Build and maintain driver‑based financial models, scenario analyses, and sensitivity analyses
Partner with department leaders to align financial plans with operating and strategic priorities
Cross-Functional Partnership & Reporting Partner with the accounting team, the business unit operators, sales & marketing, and the CFO to improve budgeting and forecasting processes
Provide financial analysis support for operations, including ad-hoc analysis for the private equity deal team, review of cost savings proposals and other business analysis
Develop dashboards and executive‑ready reporting that provide visibility into financial and operational performance
M&A & Treasury Support Assist the Vice President of M&A and CFO with financial due diligence and assessment of potential M&A targets
Support M&A integrations
Manage the company's 13‑week cash flow model
Assist with administration of various Treasury management responsibilities
Prepare other ad hoc analyses, as needed
Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field required
MBA and/or CPA a plus (but not a requirement)
Experience 4–8+ years of progressive FP&A, corporate finance, consulting, or transaction‑related experience
Experience working at a PE‑owned manufacturing or retail company preferred
Experience working in FP&A and/or transaction advisory services preferred
Demonstrated strong project management skills, including ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and follow through on completion of high‑profile projects
Experience with financial modeling preferred
