Overnight CDCASilver Maple - Lorain, OH 44053 The Evening CDCA is responsible for supporting client care, maintaining a safe and structured environment, and assisting with daily program operations. Duties include, but are not limited to: Maintain a safe and secure environment for clients, staff, and visitors by monitoring premises, conducting routine patrols, and observing client behaviorMonitor facility access, surveillance systems, alarms, and building conditions; report any irregularities or safety concerns immediatelySupport admissions staff with new client intake and orientation in accordance with program policies and proceduresEnsure clients remain on schedule for meals, groups, therapy sessions, meetings, and appointmentsCo-facilitate psychoeducational groups and may lead meditation groupsSupervise clients during recreational and leisure activities, ensuring engagement and adherence to program guidelinesSupport staff in enforcing program rules and maintaining accountability in accordance with client handbooksAssist with urinalysis collection and breathalyzer testing in compliance with policies and proceduresAccurately document client interactions, incidents, and observations in the EHR system to ensure continuity of careCommunicate effectively with team members regarding client behavior, concerns, and progressQualifications: Active CDCA (Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant) certification requiredHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredExperience working with mental health and/or substance use disorder populations preferredBasic computer skills for documentation and communicationStrong communication, observation, and problem-solving skillsAbility to follow policies, procedures, and regulatory requirementsCurrent TB test
