Warm leads provided No cold calling Marketing support Company-generated leads Role Description The Licensed Insurance Producer is a full-time, on-site role located in Lafayette, LA. This position is responsible for prospecting and meeting with potential and existing clients, conducting needs assessments, and recommending appropriate insurance products and coverage options. Daily tasks include preparing quotes, explaining policy terms and conditions, processing applications, and maintaining accurate client records. The role involves ongoing customer service, such as handling policy changes, answering coverage questions, and assisting with claims-related inquiries. The Licensed Insurance Producer collaborates with agency leadership to meet sales goals, follow compliance and regulatory requirements, and contribute to a professional and client-centered office environment.
Qualifications: Strong proficiency in Insurance Sales and Insurance products, with the ability to explain coverage options clearly and accurately. Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills, including active listening, relationship building, and timely follow-up. Knowledge of Employee Benefits and related insurance solutions, with the ability to support both individual and small business clients. Current state insurance producer license (or eligibility to obtain one within required timeframe).Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and comfort working with policy documentation and client records. Basic proficiency with office software and agency management systems; ability to learn new tools and processes quickly. Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and commitment to non-discriminatory, inclusive client service. Prior experience in an insurance agency or financial services environment is preferred but not required.
