About the role
- The CEO's calendar as a strategic instrument — prioritizing, sequencing, protecting focus time, and making judgment calls about what gets his attention and when
- First-line triage of executive communications: reviewing inbound, flagging what matters, drafting responses, and closing loops without being asked twice
- Complex scheduling across clinicians, senior staff, external partners, vendors, and counsel, with precision and discretion
- Tracking commitments across initiatives and driving follow-through to completion — you are the reason things do not slip
- Preparing executive materials, briefing documents, and structured summaries that support operational and financial decisions
- Supporting analytical work as directed: organizing data, building spreadsheets, running scenario comparisons, tracking revenue and expense trends
- Maintaining organized systems for documents, contracts, and reference materials
- Coordinating travel and professional logistics with attention to schedule integrityWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 5+ years supporting a senior executive, ideally a CEO, founder, or managing partner
- Experience in a structured, high-performance environment — corporate, finance, consulting, law, healthcare administration, or a comparable institution
- Bachelor's degree
- Demonstrated judgment with confidential and sensitive information; this role touches financial, legal, and personnel matters
- Excellent written communication — you will draft in the CEO's voice and correspond with his peers on his behalf
- Strong command of Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Teams) and comfort learning new systems
- A record of stability and increasing responsibility, not a series of short stops
- Comfort working independently and taking full ownershipWHAT THIS ROLE OFFERSDirect, daily access to a chief executive and visibility into how a growing healthcare company is actually run. Clearly defined responsibilities, a professional environment, and an organization where this position is treated as essential rather than overhead. No clinical or patient-facing duties.
- This role does not support visa sponsorship now or in the future
- Reliable daily commute to our Grand Central office and consistent availability during business hours are requiredHOW TO APPLYSubmit your resume with a brief note — a few paragraphs is plenty — covering: 1. The executive you have supported most closely, and what you owned on their behalf 2. The most rigorous or high-performance environment you have worked in: the expectations, pace, and standards 3. An example of how you prevented something from slipping through the cracks 4. How you prefer to receive direction from an executive you support
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
