About the role

City Of Danville Public Works Department The City of Danville Public Works Department is seeking a reliable and dependable person to join the team! The Lift Station Operator maintains and repairs lift stations, force mains, and the H & L Landfill Site; fulfills operational requirements; and performs other sanitary sewer activities and assigned projects. The operator is also responsible for all communications and after-hours responses involving lift stations, force mains, and related systems. For more information, please view the full job notice. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent from a recognized educational institution. - Three (3) years of experience in this field or a closely related field. - Experience working with lift station management software such as SCADATA. - Illinois Class B CDL Vehicle Operators License with air brake endorsement. - State of Illinois Electrical License preferred.
Special Requirements: Employees of the City must establish their principal residence within forty-five (45) miles of the City of Danville corporate limits within six (6) months following successful completion of their probationary period.
