Account Executive, Direct Sales Classification: Salary, Non-Exempt Department: Sales Location: Scottsdale, AZ Reports to: Senior Sales Manager Compensation: $75,000-$85,000 plus uncapped commission. $145,000 OTE About the Role TTI Success Insights helps organizations make better decisions about hiring, leadership development, team performance, and engagement. Most of our business is generated through our partner network. Our direct sales team works with organizations that are better served through a direct relationship with TTI. As an Account Executive, Direct Sales, you will own the full sales cycle from first conversation through signed agreement. Qualified inbound opportunities are routed to you, and you are responsible for building the rest of your pipeline through your own outbound effort. This role is built for someone who is comfortable creating opportunities, understanding a business problem before recommending a solution, and closing consultative sales. What You Will Do Own the full sales cycle from discovery through close. Respond to qualified inbound leads quickly and consistently. Build pipeline through outbound prospecting, lapsed customer outreach, and referrals. Lead discovery conversations with business owners, HR leaders, and executives. Develop proposals and pricing, negotiate terms, and close new business. Identify additional needs within customers you have closed. Maintain an accurate pipeline and forecast in HubSpot. Follow internal lead routing guidelines between direct sales and partners. Coordinate with Onboarding to transition new customers after the sale. Expectations Meet or exceed your new business revenue target. Generate a meaningful portion of your pipeline through outbound activity. This is not an inbound only role. Keep HubSpot current so that pipeline and forecast are reliable. Document opportunities clearly enough that any deal can be picked up by someone else. Deliver a professional buying experience from first conversation through customer transition. What We Are Looking For 5+ years of consultative B2B sales experience carrying a new business number. Proven success managing a full sales cycle, including opportunities you sourced yourself. Demonstrated outbound experience. Strong discovery skills. You define the problem before recommending a solution. Credibility with business owners, HR leaders, and executives. Highly organized with consistent follow through. Experience using a CRM such as HubSpot or Salesforce. Preferred Experience Selling assessments, HR technology, leadership development, consulting, professional services, learning solutions, or SaaS. Selling solution based offerings where the buyer needs help defining the problem before selecting a solution. Selling into small and mid sized businesses as well as larger organizations.
