About the role
This is a rare opportunity for a Proven, Still Hungry, Humble, Driven, Results-Oriented Business Development Leader EXPERIENCED IN CELL THERAPY looking to build a major licensing and product sales revenue business from ground up. This is also a rare opportunity to help lead a derisked FDA Special Protocol Assessment phase 3 ready drug (later stage) company developing game-changing innovative medicine that still feels/operates like a nimble startup determined to change the world for the better. Our mission to develop curative medicine to transform survival and quality of life of patients with late stage cancers and life-threatening neurodegenerative and auto-immune diseases. Job Description:
- Drive and manage major capital raising, out-licensing revenues and product sales.
Qualifications:
Candidate should possess the following:· High energy, humble, high integrity, authentic, trustworthy, accountable, can-do entrepreneur with a sense of urgency, results-oriented driven to serve the world and make it better.
Navy Seal/Olympic Games type caliber. Must be proven with delivering on goals/objectives within aggressive deadlines.
Must have a strong current network with the funding community and with big pharma.
MD, PhD required· Major Deal & Financing Transaction success track record within the biotech/pharma industry.
Proven with building major shareholder value for shareholders.· Must have a deal sheet showing a track record of closing major out-licensing deals, financing or product sales. · Business savvy with a strong grasp of business strategy, functions, markets and risks· Ability to work independently and perform multiple concurrent and diversified tasks·lkoh@targazyme.com
