About the role
To support groundwater modeling efforts, the fully remote Senior Engineering Hydrologist will assist with groundwater flow and contaminant transport modeling at various sites, including Fernald, Tuba City, and Monument Valley, while also providing technical analysis and reporting as needed.
Key responsibilities:
Assist with groundwater flow and contaminant transport modeling using PEST-PPIES at multiple sites
Provide technical advice and support for the preparation of environmental reports
Conduct hydrogeological analysis and reporting activities as required
Required qualifications:
Master's degree or higher in geology, hydrogeology, hydrology, or engineering
10 years of relevant experience in groundwater modeling
Expertise in MODFLOW, PEST, and related modeling software
General field characterization experience, including well drilling and aquifer testing
Strong background in statistics and geostatistics
