About the role

Grow your career with a 60-year greenhouse manufacturer For 60 years, Harnois Greenhouses has designed and built greenhouse structures and integrated growing systems for commercial growers across North America. We are strengthening our presence in Ontario and looking for an experienced field sales professional to own the territory. If you have built your career in greenhouse structures, horticultural supplies or agricultural equipment, and you are looking for your next move with a stable, well-established manufacturer, we want to hear from you. What you'll do: Build and execute the Ontario territory sales plan, with room to expand into neighboring regions Develop lasting relationships with commercial growers, horticultural cooperatives and agri-food operators Run the full sales cycle: prospecting, site visits, needs assessments, quotes, negotiation and closing Recommend greenhouse structures and integrated equipment solutions, backed by our engineering and project management teams Manage a disciplined CRM pipeline on consultative sales cycles of 6 to 18 months Represent Harnois at trade shows, industry events and agricultural associations across the territory Track market trends and competitor activity to sharpen territory strategy What you bring 5+ years in outside or field sales: greenhouse structures, horticultural supplies, growing equipment or agricultural products An established network among Ontario growers is a strong assetA track record of closing equipment or construction projects with long sales cycles The ability to explain technical concepts in simple termsA degree in horticulture, agronomy, agricultural technology or a related field, or equivalent industry experience Proficiency with CRM platforms, Microsoft Office and estimating tools Strong organization, autonomy, and a team-first mindsetA valid driver's license and willingness to travel across the territory
