About the role
- Lead development of customer‐specific strategies and activation plans aligned to brand and category priorities
- Synthesize insights from syndicated data (Circana/Nielsen), retailer data, POS performance, innovation tracking and category fundamentals to inform customer plans
- Serve as a strategic partner to Customer Development teams by delivering clear sell‐in stories, performance readouts and growth recommendations
- Own and deliver customer insights, line review support, and strategic deep dives (e.g., distribution gaps, innovation pacing, promo effectiveness)
- Partner cross‐functionally with Brand, Finance, Demand/Supply Planning and Commercial teams to ensure aligned execution and forecasting support
- Support key planning processes including JBP, Innovation Planning, integrated business planning forecast cycles, and customer business reviews
- Translate national strategies into retailer‐specific opportunities while maintaining compliance with national guardrails
- Lead or support presentations for customer line reviews, internal leadership forums, and cross‐functional working sessions
- Mentor and inform analyst support, ensuring high‐quality, accurate and actionable outputs
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of four years of prior experience in customer sales, category insights/management, analytics, shopper marketing/insights or related field in a consumer products environment
- Strong experience working with syndicated data (Circana/Nielsen), POS analytics and customer performance metrics
- Proven ability to translate data into clear, actionable customer strategies and narratives
- Intermediate to advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are required; proficiency in Power BI or Tableau is preferred
- Ability to devise and deliver persuasive presentations, based on data-driven insights and facts, to gain support for business strategies and/or initiatives
- Strong cross‐functional collaboration, communication and presentation skills
- Experience participating in or supporting JBP or line review processes
- Experience supporting Walmart, Target, CVS, Walgreens, Grocery, Club, Dollar or eCommerce customers preferred
- Exposure to innovation planning, assortment strategy or omnichannel activation preferred
- Beauty category experience preferred
