About the role

The United States Naval Academy invites applications for the position of Dean for Information Services and Director of Nimitz Library. The Academy is seeking a collaborative and innovative library administrator who will lead by developing and inspiring a shared vision for the future of Nimitz Library. The United States Naval Academy, located in historic Annapolis, MD, is a four-year undergraduate institution with a mission to prepare midshipmen for commissioning as officers in the Navy or Marine Corps. Nimitz Library is staffed by an all-civilian, user-oriented team of thirty. The library’s services and collections are aligned with the Academy’s curriculum and designed to support the academic needs of midshipmen and faculty. Application review will begin on October 15.
