Senior Design Engineer – Electronics Potomac, Maryland (Commutable from: Bethesda, Gaithersburg, Germantown, Frederick, Silver Spring)$140,000 - $180,000 + Specialist Training + Relocation Assistance + Annual Bonus + 4 Weeks PTO + Excellent Benefits Package Are you a Senior Design Engineer with PCB, custom silicon, ASIC, or semiconductor design experience, looking to play a pivotal role at a market-leading organization, offering specialist training and career progression? This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership across the full product development lifecycle, working on technically challenging designs alongside a highly experienced engineering team with a long-term pipeline of major projects. This company are an established US-based technology manufacturer with a strong reputation within their industry. They are continuing to grow following the award of major long-term projects, creating an exciting pipeline of technically challenging engineering work. In this role, you will work across the complete development lifecycle of complex electronic products. Depending on your background, this could involve custom silicon and semiconductor development or high-performance PCB design, with exposure to design, verification, testing, lab boards, and manufacturing through to final production. This role would suit a Senior Design Engineer with either PCB/electronics or custom silicon/semiconductor experience, looking for a varied technical role offering significant ownership and exposure across the complete product development lifecycle.
The Role: Take ownership across the full development lifecycle of complex electronic and semiconductor products Work across custom silicon / ASIC / semiconductor or high-performance PCB design, depending on your technical background Join a senior engineering team of approximately 12–14 engineers, Monday–Friday, 100% onsite The Person: Senior Design Engineer with PCB, electronics, custom silicon, ASIC, SoC, IC, or semiconductor design experience Strong design experience with exposure to testing, verification, manufacturing, or the wider product development lifecycle Experience within aerospace, defense, semiconductor, or other high-reliability electronics environments advantageous
