About the role
Youth Care Specialist (Residential) - Rimrock, AZEmoticare is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Residential Youth Care Specialist/BHT to join our team! As a BHT, you will work closely with our mental health professionals to provide high-quality care to individuals with a range of behavioral and mental health needs. Your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with clients, families, and staff, while your dedication to a patient-centered approach will help ensure the delivery of outstanding care.
Compensation & Benefits:

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to clients with various behavioral and mental health diagnoses, including conducting behavioral interventions and skill-building exercises
- Assist licensed professionals with assessments, treatment planning, and therapy sessions
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of client progress and treatment plans
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
- Collaborate with clients and families to identify and address treatment goals and barriers
- Participate in team meetings, professional development opportunities, and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required with 1 year of relevant experience; post-secondary education in a related field preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records
