Position Overview: The Project Engineer plays a key role in successful delivery of projects to our end-clients. This unique opportunity presents an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment by providing expertise within a diverse stack of technologies, security, and cloud platforms. The Project Engineer is responsible for successful execution of all engineering and technical disciplines that projects involve. The ideal candidate will be detailed, thorough, driven, and process oriented with a keen focus on technical expertise and quality.
Schedule:
  • Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:30 pm ESTPosition Responsibilities
  • Apply high-quality technical expertise towards the completion of projects within budget and scheduling restraints.
  • Perform engineering services both remotely, and onsite to metro-area clientele, ranging from cloud services implementation to network deployments.
  • Implement pre-defined IT systems, policies, and controls to ensure data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop mitigation strategies and workarounds for identified risks.
  • Create, update and validate project documentation including but not limited to diagrams, configuration management database and knowledgebase articles.
  • Maintain compliance with organization and client specific security and data privacy requirements.
  • Regular communication with Project Manager and Project Team.

Skills & Requirements
Qualifications: Excellent verbal and written English communication. Ability to work and be available during our regular business hours in our NYC location. Availability to work after hours and weekends as needed.3-5 yrs. IT implementation experience with some of the following technologies:
  • Windows and MacMicrosoft 365 Active Directory
  • Endpoint Security
  • Routing, Switching, VPN and SD-WANLatest wireless technologies
  • Hypervisors (VMWare, Microsoft, Citrix)
  • Application Virtualization and VDIAzure and AWS Virtualization
  • Mobile Device Management
  • Single Sign On (SAML, OAuth and similar)
  • Scripting experience preferred using PowerShell and Batch scripts.
  • Experience working with an IT Service Ticketing system such as ConnectWise Manage or similar.
  • Experience working with an IT Remote Monitoring and Management system such as ConnectWise Automate or similar.
  • Understanding of hardware compatibility and specifications.
  • Advanced network troubleshooting skills such as DHCP, DNS, VLANs.
