Experience Needed Experience in agriculture, agronomy, crop inputs, fertilizer, biologicals, seed, or a related industry is strongly preferred
Proven ability to develop new business, build customer relationships, and achieve sales goals
College degree, agricultural background, sales experience, and/or business development experience preferred
Strong understanding of growers, agricultural retailers, dealers, or distribution channels
Ability to develop and execute a successful territory growth plan
Comfortable using CRM and other computer-based tools to manage customer activity, leads, and opportunities
Excellent communication, presentation, organization, and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working independently
Willingness and ability to travel approximately 70% or more throughout the assigned territory
Role Expectations Develop and execute a territory plan focused on revenue growth, customer development, and market expansion
Build and strengthen profitable relationships with growers, dealers, and distribution partners
Promote a portfolio of fertilizer, biological, micronutrient, and crop-nutrition solutions
Identify and pursue new customers, product applications, and market opportunities
Work alongside customers and the Agronomy team to coordinate yield trials and product comparisons
Develop customer growth plans that address specific agronomic needs and business opportunities
Represent the organization at dealer meetings, grower events, trade shows, and industry functions
Prepare territory forecasts and contribute to companywide sales and planning initiatives
Document field performance through agronomic data, photographs, video, and customer feedback
Partner with Marketing to develop effective outreach for current and prospective customers
Maintain accurate CRM records for leads, opportunities, customer activity, and follow-up
Stay informed about agronomic research, market trends, and competitive activity
Take ownership of territory results while collaborating across sales, agronomy, marketing, and leadership teams

Preferred location will be in either KY or TN, essentially I-65 and West.
Compensation will depend on experience, but competitive base and incentive pay available.
