About the role

We’re hiring an experienced, self-sufficient video editor and videographer who can take a project from production through post-production. You’ll film and help edit content across You Tube, short-form social media, paid ads, educational courses, events, and other brand projects. We’re looking for someone who is equally comfortable behind a camera and inside Premiere Pro, and who can independently handle shoots, edits, and occasional travel. YOUR JOB IS TOEdit long-form You Tube videos, ads, courses, and other video projects Film studio content, including operating cameras, lighting, and audio equipment Prepare and set up equipment before shoots to keep production efficient Organize raw footage and create string-outs or assembly edits for projects across the video team Add b-roll, captions, graphics, transitions, music, and sound design to enhance storytelling Understand modern creator-style editing and adapt pacing and storytelling to fit different platforms and projects Properly organize and hand off footage using established file and folder structures Independently troubleshoot basic production and post-production issuesTRAVEL & EVENT PRODUCTIONTravel is a regular part of this position. Approximately once per month, you will travel to in-person workshops and other events, often over a weekend. At these events, you may be responsible for independently handling: Event photography Event b-roll Recording keynotes Professional audio capture Setting up and breaking down cameras, tripods, audio equipment, and other production gear Shooting additional social media, advertising, or interview content when needed Occasional additional weekday travel may also be required.
MUST HAVES: If you don’t meet these, this isn’t the right role. Fluent in Adobe Premiere Pro Professional videography experience and confidence operating mirrorless cameras Strong understanding of exposure, composition, frame rates, and lenses Comfortable setting up and operating basic professional lighting and audio equipment Deep understanding of pacing, hooks, storytelling, and engaging video structure Able to independently run a studio video shoot Comfortable traveling approximately once per month, usually on weekends Comfortable working under management and taking creative direction Able to handle quick turnarounds, sometimes 1–3 days Able to adapt quickly to new workflows as our team and brand grow Self-motivated and independent. We are not looking to train someone from scratch.
