Job Description:
Under broad policies established by KCPC Medical Director and in accordance with formal collaborative practice agreement with psychiatrist when applicable, provides adult psychiatric services to KCPC clients; collaborates with other prescribers and mental health professionals to develop programs and policies that improve the quality of the facility’s services; and efficiently utilizes available resources to maximize administration of quality care within budgetary constraints. This position is required to adhere to time and attendance policies.
Required:
Master’s degree in nursing or related field with advanced national certification in Adult Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification from the American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC). Kentucky Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (APRN) license or permit. DEA license valid in Kentucky. Over three years of clinical psychiatric nursing experience.
