Bottling Line TechnicianThe Bottling Line Technician is responsible for continued operation of the production bottling line, coordinating, and monitoring production completion within the Bottling
Responsibilities:
Monitor the flow of the bottling production line and equipment performance, including the Bottle Unscrambler, Counter Machine, Desiccant Inserter, Metal Detector, Capper Machine, Sealers, Neckbander, and Labeler MachinesAssist in the setup of the equipment and setup/changing of components and materials, such as adding bottles to the Unscrambler Machine, loading/changing desiccant and neckband reels, adding caps to the Capper Machine, and changing label rolls and ribbons on the Labeler MachineAssist Machine Operator or Line Leader in the production line processes and in-process checksAssist with production batch startup and completion, including verification of staged components and final batch reconciliationReport and assist with resolving any arising problems or complaints with line leaderMeet accuracy and timeliness targetsComply with laws, regulations and current good manufacturing practices (cGMP) requirementsAssist in developing new strategies to streamline processes and reduce production timePartner and communicate with production line leader and Production Supervisor to ensure timely completions and delivery of work ordersQualificationsHigh School Diploma, equivalent diploma or relevant experience requiredPrevious bottling or production line experience requiredExperience with electronic data and equipment requiredExperience with production bottling line troubleshooting requiredExperience in packaging of nutraceuticals/pharmaceutical preferredKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAbility to work well with othersExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independentlyKnowledge of cGMP practicesKnowledge of regulatory requirementsExcellent inter-personal skills and the ability to apply logical reasoningHighly motivated, detail-orientedAbility to prioritize and multitaskPhysical/Work Environment/ExpectationsWhile performing duties of job, incumbent is occasionally required to: Operate in a professional environmentConstantly use work-related equipmentTo use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controlsOccasionally lift and/or move up to 40 poundsAbility to work regular, full-time schedule, Monday through Friday with the flexibility to work additional hours depending on business demandsNote: This job description is not totally inclusive nor it is designed to cover or contain a complete comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
