Overview: Fire Protection Layout Technician role at EMCOR Group, Inc. We provide end-to-end fire protection, mechanical, and HVAC services nationwide. Job Title Fire Protection Layout Technician
Responsibilities: Design and layout of fire sprinkler systems for Industrial, Commercial, and Residential projects. Perform layout using AutoCAD/Hydra Cad, create hydraulic calculations and pipe lists for pre-fabrication. BIM modeling Hydraulic calculations Field surveying Listing for fabrication Coordination between trades Other duties as assigned
Qualifications: Education / Work Experience: Associate or Technical or business discipline preferred; equivalent experience (Architectural, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management). NICET certification preferred. High mechanical interest; experience in the Fire Protection Design Field is required. AutoCAD and/or Hydra Cad experience required. Ability to multi-task; valid driver's license and excellent driving record. Excellent communicator, self-motivated with strong organizational skills.
