Role Description: The Remote Travel Advisor is a part-time role responsible for designing and booking customized travel experiences for clients. Day-to-day tasks include consulting with clients to understand their preferences, researching destinations, and arranging transportation, accommodations, cruises, excursions, and activities. The role involves managing bookings, handling changes or issues, and ensuring a seamless travel experience from initial inquiry through post-trip follow-up. The Remote Travel Advisor will use online tools and vendor platforms to secure competitive rates, maintain accurate records, and provide clear, timely communication. This position is fully remote and requires consistent virtual engagement with clients and travel partners.
Qualifications: Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills, with a focus on building long-term client relationships. Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication in a remote environment. Candidates should possess Travel Arrangements and Travel Agency skills, including experience booking air, hotel, cruises, excursions, and other trip components. Candidates should possess organizational and time management skills to handle multiple itineraries and deadlines. Proficiency with online booking tools, travel vendor platforms, and basic office software is beneficial. Previous experience in travel planning, hospitality, or customer-facing roles is an advantage. Ability to work independently, maintain attention to detail, and adapt to changing client needs is important.
