Looking for Senior Consultant - VMware vSAN - (Remote Role)Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant with strong VMware vSAN expertise to design, implement, administer, and optimize hyper-converged infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, vSAN, ESXi, and related virtualization technologies, supporting enterprise-scale infrastructure and cloud initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, deploy, and manage VMware vSAN and vSphere environments.Administer and troubleshoot ESXi hosts, clusters, and virtual machines.Perform vSAN configuration, storage policy management, and performance tuning.Lead infrastructure migrations, upgrades, and capacity planning activities.Monitor system health, availability, and ensure high-performance operations.Implement disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity solutions.Collaborate with architecture, security, and application teams on infrastructure projects.Prepare technical documentation, best practices, and operational procedures. Required SkillsStrong experience with VMware vSAN, vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter Server.Knowledge of storage technologies, SAN/NAS, and hyper-converged infrastructure.Experience with VMware HA, DRS, Storage Policies, and Lifecycle Manager.Understanding of networking concepts including VLANs, DNS, TCP/IP, and load balancing.Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation and monitoring tools.Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred QualificationsVMware certifications such as VCP, VCAP, or VCDX.Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).Exposure to NSX, SRM, and enterprise backup solutions.
