About the role
We are seeking a skilled and versatile senior Python Developer with 10+ experience to join our team on a W2 contract basis through System Soft Technologies. This role is designed for professionals currently authorized to work in the United States who prefer a stable, direct W2 employment structure.
Note:
This position is exclusively open to candidates eligible to work on a W2 basis. We are unable to accept C2C arrangements or process H-1B transfers for this specific opening.
Key Responsibilities:
Design & Development: Write clean, scalable, and efficient code using Python and modern web frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, or FastAPI).API Integration: Build, maintain, and secure robust RESTful APIs and microservices. Data Management: Work closely with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational (MongoDB, Redis) databases to optimize query performance and data pipelines. Cloud Infrastructure: Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure using containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes. Collaboration: Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to code reviews and architectural discussions. Testing & Quality Assurance: Write unit and integration tests (using PyTest or Unittest) to ensure high code quality and reliability.
Required Qualifications
Experience:
10+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on Python. Technical Stack: Proficiency in Python core concepts, asynchronous programming, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).Hands-on experience with modern backend frameworks (Django/Flask).Familiarity with front-end technologies (Java Script, HTML5, CSS3) is a plus. Databases & Cloud: Demonstrated experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and cloud-hosted environments (AWS preferred).Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a W2 basis (H1B Transfer compatible with direct W2 employment through System Soft Technologies).
