About the role

Position Overview: The Director of Finance and Accounting will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO and acting as a strategic business partner in company-wide decision-making. This is a hands-on, full-service role requiring deep experience in construction and real estate accounting, cash management, and project-based financial oversight. The right candidate will advance to the CFO.

Responsibilities:

Create and present financial and tax strategy recommendations to CEOSupport the financial planning and analysis efforts
Oversee cash flow, cash management, working capital, and company audits
Prepare financial statements and reports
Ensure legal compliance on all financial functions
Expert in real estate and construction accounting, project accounting

Qualifications: Prior leadership role with construction general or subcontractor Experience in all phases of multifamily commercial development 7 - 10 years' of accounting and finance experienceCPA or MBA preferred
