About the role

Account Manager ServiceMaster Restore is looking for an outgoing, motivated Account Manager to develop relationships with insurance agents, property managers, and other referral partners. Your goal is simple: make ServiceMaster Restore the company people know, trust, and call first when property damage occurs. This is an outside sales and relationship-building position for someone who enjoys meeting people, networking, developing accounts, and creating new business opportunities.
What You'll Do: Build relationships with insurance agents and property managers. Prospect for new accounts and referral partners. Conduct regular in-person sales calls and account visits. Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects and existing accounts. Educate partners about our water, fire, mold, and restoration services. Help property managers prepare for property emergencies. Coordinate presentations, lunch-and-learns, CE classes, and events. Attend networking and community events. Respond quickly when referral partners need assistance. Work with operations to ensure referred customers receive excellent service. Track sales activity, referrals, opportunities, and results. Meet established sales activity, referral, and revenue goals. Who We're Looking For Restoration experience is not required. We're looking for someone who knows how to build relationships, earn trust, and create opportunities. Experience in outside sales, account management, insurance, property management, real estate, home services, or business development is a plus. Our ideal candidate: Enjoys meeting new people. Is comfortable prospecting and making cold calls. Communicates confidently and professionally. Is organized and consistent with follow-up. Can develop long-term business relationships. Is self-motivated and works well independently. Enjoys networking and community involvement. Is competitive and motivated by results.
What Success Looks Like: This position is about becoming the first call when property damage happens. We're looking for someone who will actively develop new relationships while strengthening existing accounts. Compensation & Opportunity Base Salary + Performance-Based Commission/Bonus Your earning potential grows as you develop accounts, generate referrals, and increase revenue. Sales, account management, business development, insurance, property management, or related experience preferred. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Comfortable with prospecting and outside sales. Strong organization and follow-up skills. Ability to manage a territory independently. Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving requirements. Comfortable using CRM and mobile technology.
