About the role
The Chief People Officer is responsible for developing and executing the organization’s people strategy while overseeing all aspects of Human Resources, HRIS transformation, payroll, employee relations, talent management, benefits, compliance, and organizational development.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team.
Establish policies and programs that support organizational growth, culture, engagement, and retention.
Lead the People/HR team and establish measurable goals and performance standards.
Oversee the complete payroll function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee payroll.
Oversee recruiting, onboarding, performance management, employee development, retention, and offboarding.
Lead employee relations and workplace investigations as appropriate.
Champion a positive, inclusive, ethical, and high-performing workplace culture.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field required 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including senior-level management.
Preferred Certifications: SHRM-SCP, SPHR, CPP, or equivalent professional credentials.
