Job Title: Warehouse Engineer
Duration: 06 Months (Possible Extension)
Shift: 1st Shift
Pay Rate: $48.39/Hour on W2Location: Fairfield, OH 45014
Job Responsibilities: Understand warehouse operations, departments, and processes. Design and plan the warehouse layout for better space utilization and smooth operations. Plan product flow, storage locations, and material handling systems. Improve warehouse processes to increase efficiency and productivity. Apply Lean concepts to improve process flow and reduce waste. Manage warehouse activities such as receiving, storage, order preparation, and shipping according to SPS principles. Monitor and analyze warehouse performance, including cost, service, and efficiency. Identify problems and implement corrective actions to improve warehouse operations. Support and manage projects related to warehouse design and process improvement.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse design or optimization. Knowledge of warehouse layout, storage, material flow, and operations. Experience with CAD or other computer-aided design software. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office. Knowledge of SAP.Knowledge of SQL, Tableau, or other database/analytics tools is an advantage. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Basic knowledge of Lean and continuous improvement concepts.
