WHAT WE’RE AFTER…Our progressive Architecture Team seeks a talented Healthcare Project Managerto lead projects in the Austin, TX region. This person will be the main point of contact for our Healthcare clients in the region. Strong client-facing experience along with strong technical skills is critical for the success of role.
Healthcare Project Managers have a passion for designing Healthcare environments, finding the Mission for each client. Whether the project is small or large a candidate will thrive on creating solutions that make these spaces better for the people who occupy them.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
AT O'CONNELL ROBERTSON….Collaborate on Healthcare Architecture Projectswith various clients
Develop and maintain effective verbal, graphic, and written communication with clients that support positive, long-term relationships.
Plan, direct and supervise the architectural team members and coordinate consultant responsibilities of studies, design or construction documents of various scale projects.
Interpret, organize, execute and coordinate the development of individual or multiple projects, maintaining oversight to achieve goals of the firm.
Assist in the creation and continued development of design concepts through all phases of design.
WHAT IT TAKES TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN YOUR ROLE…We’re looking for passionate, driven self-starters. Beyond that, you’ll need…
8+ years of professional experience, inclusive of 4 years of experience in Healthcare design
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecturefrom an accredited program/school
Registered Architect in the State of Texas is preferred. Candidates with related or similar professional experience will be considered.
Strong, comprehensive knowledge of architectural principles/practices, including project financial, schedule and resource planning.
Working knowledge of building codes, standards, and building structures.
Flexibility to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of development.
Engaging Communication style with clients, teams and consultants
Must be quality minded and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple shifting priorities with intentional schedules.
Experience and proficiency with Healthcare projects and licensing requirements required. Education/ Commercial /Institutional market experience is a plus.
Knowledge and experience with sustainability standards, Revit, Bluebeam, Newforma and Office Suite is preferred.
