Full Job Description: The CNC Programmer is an essential member of the Atlas Gunworks team. A skilled CNC programmer who is willing to improve processes and creatively analyze each part to maximize machining efficiency in a production environment is who we are looking for. The CNC Programmer would be responsible for programming 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machines in a production environment. The CNC Programmer would also create setup sheets and standard tool lists for the different cells they are responsible for.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: · Create CNC Programs for the assigned machine cells.· Create Setup Sheets and standard tool lists for the parts made at each cell.· Engage in the design of fixturing and tooling for the assigned parts.· Develop in-process checks in the machine to verify parts during machining.· Give recommendations for the use of new technologies in the machine shop.· Ability to follow safety and maintenance procedures while maintaining a clean and safe working environment.· Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications: · 5+ years of CNC programming experience (preferably in a production environment).· Experience working in Mastercam/Fusion 360/Esprit/Solid Works.· Have a high school diploma or equivalent (strongly preferred, but not required).· Enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
