Experience managing equipment projects, from writing specifications and overseeing design through to commissioning and validation. A hands-on approach to troubleshooting, root cause analysis and continuous improvement. Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, motion control, servo systems and industrial automation. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, budgets and deadlines. Willingness to travel approximately 25%, primarily across the Midwest.
The Opportunity:
This is an opportunity for a technically driven engineer who enjoys getting into the detail, solving complex mechanical challenges and seeing projects through to completion. You'll have the autonomy to drive equipment improvements, influence technical decisions and work directly with suppliers to turn engineering concepts into practical manufacturing solutions.
Compensation: Circa $135,000 base salary, depending on experience.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
