About the role

Customer & Sales Support Specialist Refractory Service, Inc. (RSI) is seeking an organized, customer-focused Customer & Sales Support Specialist to connect customers, field sales, and plant operations. You'll help keep quotes, orders, schedules, and deliveries accurate and on track.
What You'll Do: Coordinate customer requirements, priorities, schedules, and delivery commitments across sales, production, and shipping. Prepare accurate material quotes, review purchase orders, enter orders, and issue acknowledgements. Monitor order progress and communicate timely updates to customers and sales representatives. Resolve routine order and delivery issues while maintaining organized electronic records. Support Salesforce data entry, account administration, reporting, correspondence, and follow-up.
What You Bring: High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred. Two or more years of customer service, sales support, order management, or related administrative experience. Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, judgment, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams. Salesforce, CRM, ERP, or manufacturing-system experience is a plus. Ability to work independently, collaborate across departments, and manage changing priorities. Work Environment &
Physical Requirements: Office-based work with regular interaction with shop and plant employees. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, use standard office equipment, and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
