About the role
- Develop robust automated firmware/software testing solutions in TypeScript and Python, ensuring high reliability and repeatability
- Design and develop full-stack applications (React, TypeScript, Go) that deliver critical insights into Tesla's energy systems
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and intelligent analysis tools to accelerate testing and development cycles
- Develop AI agents that automate test generation, prioritization, refinement, and anomaly detection, optimizing coverage and testing velocity
- Collaborate with system integration, software, and firmware engineers to develop automated test scripts
- Improve and maintain our web- and desktop-based diagnostics platform
- Debug issues in production, root-cause them, and apply fixes in a timely manner
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong working knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks (React.js, TypeScript)
- Strong CSS skills, including experience with CSS pre-compilers (SASS, LESS, etc.)Proficiency in Python for test automation and tooling
- Go development experience
- Experience building highly scalable architectures
- Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and test management tools
- Experience with AI-assisted test tooling (Playwright codegen, agentic test generation, LLM-based failure triage) is preferred
