As an integral part of the Cascade team, all members are expected to carry out our Service Model of Friendly, Helpful, Knowledgeable, Respectful, and Responsive.Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesThe Desk Monitor monitors the front desk and helps maintain building security and facilities in a clean, orderly, and safe condition.Essential Duties:Monitor front door activity; require that all guests entering the building provide a valid, current ID; require that they sign into the log book.*Perform janitorial duties as assigned, such as dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, washing windows, and ensuring restrooms are in acceptable condition, etc.*Become familiar with and enforce all company policies and procedures and safety regulations.*Interface with owner/agency/residents regarding issues in a professional and courteous manner.*Notify Community Manager of lease agreement violations by completing written incident reports.*Check in with fellow employees at the beginning of your shift and end of your shift, this includes notifying existing employees when you are going to lunch or leaving the property.*Respond promptly to after-hours calls from the emergency service and promptly notify Community Manager of any emergencies. Calls 911 if needed.*Notify Community Manager concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.*Travel as required for in person classes and annual education conferencesRegular and reliable attendance during scheduled hours*Perform other duties as assigned.* Essential FunctionsQualifications and Physical DemandsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
