Your responsibilities include:

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential electrical systems
Perform electrical inspections, maintenance, and service repairs
Troubleshoot electrical panels, breakers, circuits, switches, outlets, GFCIs, and wiring
Identify electrical hazards and recommend safe, code-compliant solutions
Perform electrical panel repairs, upgrades, and component replacements within your license authorization
Install and replace electrical fixtures, devices, and equipment
Explain electrical findings, repair options, and recommendations clearly to homeowners
Present repair estimates, electrical upgrades, and additional service solutions professionally
Identify legitimate opportunities for electrical improvements and system upgrades
Complete accurate service documentation using Service

Follow applicable electrical codes, safety requirements, and ASTAR quality standardsWHO WE'RE LOOKING FORWe're looking for experienced Residential Service Electricians who know how to troubleshoot, repair, and communicate with homeowners.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of residential electrical experience preferred, including substantial hands-on service and repair experience
Active Texas Electrical License - Required
Proven experience independently diagnosing and repairing residential electrical systems
Strong troubleshooting skills involving panels, circuits, breakers, wiring, and electrical components
Knowledge of residential electrical codes and safety requirements
Experience communicating repair recommendations and estimates directly to homeowners
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions
Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
Ability to meet applicable background screening requirements
Highly Preferred:
Texas Journeyman Electrician License
Previous residential electrical service experience with a home-services company
Experience presenting and selling electrical repairs, panel upgrades, and additional electrical solutions
Experience working in a performance-based compensation environment
Familiarity with Service
