Vice President, Strategic Partnerships The Vice President, Strategic Partnerships is responsible for developing and securing high-value strategic partnerships with trade and professional associations across North America. Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President of Strategic Partnerships, this role owns the full partnership lifecycle, from identifying and cultivating new opportunities through contract negotiation, execution, and long-term growth. The position plays a pivotal role in advancing our strategic objectives and driving sustained revenue growth within the association community. The ideal candidate is a highly accomplished business development and partnership leader with deep expertise in the association industry and a proven ability to build and maintain executive-level relationships. This individual will combine strategic vision with strong commercial acumen to identify new business opportunities, develop innovative partnership solutions, and create mutually beneficial agreements that align with the goals of both our company and its association partners. Success in this role requires exceptional communication, presentation, and networking skills, along with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams and external stakeholders. The Vice President, Strategic Partnerships will serve as a trusted advisor to association leaders while championing initiatives that strengthen our company’s market presence and long-term growth strategy.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Minimum of eight (8) years of experience working alongside, or serving professional and trade associations. Demonstrated success developing and managing strategic partnerships that drive revenue growth and long-term business value. Strong leadership experience with a proven ability to coach, motivate, and develop high-performing teams. Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Proven ability to influence and engage executive-level stakeholders in complex sales and partnership environments. Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and experience negotiating mutually beneficial partnership agreements. Willingness and ability to travel as needed to meet with association leaders, attend industry conferences, and represent us at key events. This Role is Salary + Uncapped Commission. This is a fully remote position; however, candidates must be located within the Washington, DC Metropolitan area.
