About the role

Job Opportunity at Kidd's Marine Kidd's Marine is looking for a dedicated seller to help grow annual revenue from roughly $8 to $10 million to $14 million. This hire is essential to maintaining the relationship-first reputation the Kidd brothers have built. The mission is to become one of the public faces of the dealership across Shreveport-Bossier and build a book of buyers who come back, trade up, and send their friends. The performance objectives include developing a market-development plan, establishing a consistent prospecting and networking rhythm, converting service customers into new-boat buyers, closing premium boat sales, and owning every customer after the sale. Fit traits include working the room, living the outdoors authentically, selling the product not the price, owning the customer for the long haul, and being self-directed and creative. You'll work for Raymond Kidd, who co-owns the dealership with his brother Kevin. Both brothers are in the building every day, and no boat leaves the dealership until one of the Kidd brothers has lake tested it. Requirements include demonstrated success in relationship-based, high-ticket sales or business development, genuine participation in boating, fishing, hunting, or outdoor recreation, composure in high-dollar conversations, availability for flexible hours, disciplined follow-up and accurate record keeping, and a valid driver's license. Benefits include a performance-based package with the ability for a top performer to earn $180,000 or more annually, medical, dental, vision, and 401k.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
