About the role
Operate rubber processing machines such as molding presses, extruders, mixers, or grinders under supervision.
Load raw materials (e.g., rubber compounds) into machines and monitor processing cycles.
Inspect finished parts for quality, defects, or inconsistencies using visual checks and basic measurement tools.
Report machine malfunctions or production issues to supervisors immediately.
Follow safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
Assist with machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.
Complete production logs and paperwork accurately.
Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily production goals.
High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
No prior machine operation experience needed; training will be provided.
Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
Basic math and measurement skills.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to [30] lbs.
Willingness to work in a hot, industrial environment.
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Flexibility to work overtime when required
Must have reliable transportation
Preferred (but not required):Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
Familiarity with safety standards in an industrial environment.
