About the role

We’re looking for a Business Systems Analyst to support Product & Technology initiatives for premium retail brands. This is a business-facing technology role working closely with Product, Engineering, UX, Merchandising, Marketing, Finance, and other stakeholders. You’ll help translate business needs into clear technical requirements and support technology enhancements across e-commerce and related business systems.
What You’ll Do: Gather and document business and technical requirements, business rules, process flows, and use cases. Work with Product and Engineering teams to define and refine user stories and Jira backlogs. Support Agile development and the software development lifecycle. Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for system and process improvements. Troubleshoot day-to-day system issues and work with technical teams on enhancements. Partner with Shopify and internal Engineering teams on new features and functionality. Support Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and planning systems. Help translate reporting and data needs into technical requirements for tools such as Tableau or Looker. Support project changes and help keep deliverables and timelines on track.
What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred.1–3 years of relevant Business Systems Analyst or related experience. Experience with Agile methodologies and SDLC.Shopify experience is strongly preferred. Retail, e-commerce, or data technology experience is a plus. Experience with PLM, planning, or data visualization platforms such as Centric, Bamboo Rose, Anaplan, S5 Stratos, Tableau, or Looker is a plus. Strong ability to understand business processes and translate business needs into clear technical requirements. Experience creating user stories, process flows, activity diagrams, and test cases. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
