About the role
We are partnered with a leading global financial data, analytics and technology organization seeking an experienced Sales Training Lead to support its commercial organization across the Americas. This individual will be responsible for developing and delivering sales training programs designed to improve the effectiveness of a sophisticated, consultative sales organization. The role will partner closely with sale leadership and commercial teams to strengthen sales capabilities across prospecting, discovery, relationship development, solution positioning, negotiation and closing.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sales training programs across the Americas Lead onboarding and ongoing development programs for sales professionals Deliver training across consultative selling, discovery, opportunity management, negotiation and relationship development Coach sales professionals on effectively engaging senior and sophisticated client audiences Partner with sales leadership to identify capability gaps and develop targeted training initiatives Create scalable training materials, playbooks and learning programs Support managers in developing and coaching their teams Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve programs based on feedback and business outcomes Partner across sales, product, marketing and other commercial functions Help establish consistent sales processes and best practices across the organization
Qualifications:
Significant experience in sales enablement, sales training, commercial excellence or a related discipline Experience supporting complex B2B or enterprise sales organizations Financial services, financial technology, market data or investment technology experience strongly preferred Strong knowledge of consultative and solution-based selling methodologies Experience designing and facilitating training for experienced sales professionals Excellent presentation, facilitation and communication skills Ability to influence senior sales leaders and work across a large, matrixed organization Experience supporting geographically dispersed sales teams is preferred
