About the role
- BSME, BSEE, or related Engineering Degree, or an Associates Degree in Engineeringor a related technical field with equivalent work experience.
- Experience in manufacturing engineering, process improvement, or a similar handson manufacturing role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to understand engineering drawings, mechanical assemblies, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience identifying manufacturing problems and developing practical solutionsto improve quality, efficiency, and cost.
- Experience with SolidWorks; experience designing fixtures, tooling, or otherproduction aids is a major plus.
- Experience with mechanical assembly, fabrication, machining, or othermanufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in creating clear and comprehensive technical documentation and workprocedures.
- Knowledge or experience with ISO 9001:2015, quality systems, process controls, internal audits, or corrective actions is a major plus.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectivelywith Engineering and Production personnel.
- Must be comfortable working hands-on in a manufacturing environment andspending significant time on the production floor.
